George Wills
George founded MadeCurious (then Media Suite) in 2001, and over 25 years has been part of delivering close to 1,700 software projects for government and enterprise across New Zealand: enough, in his words, to pick up a few scars and start seeing the patterns underneath hard problems.
He has a deep background in traveller information systems, with 15+ years spent developing solutions for the transport sector, a specialism that runs straight through to myWorksites, which MadeCurious has built and grown into a national platform over the past decade.
He handed over day-to-day operational responsibility across MadeCurious in 2021, and today focuses much of his time supporting the myWorksites team and vision to thrive. George warns that he has opinions, and doesn't sugarcoat them.

Outside work: George races his Waszp internationally, and spends as much time coaching up-and-coming sailors into the class as he does chasing his own results. He's often out of cell coverage altogether: deep into a blue-water sailing adventure, or up flying his glider.
