He carries a set of responsibilities that can really only work if you're equally comfortable setting product direction and writing the code yourself, which is exactly the thread through his career: NZ b2b and b2g platforms, with a consistent focus on regulatory, geospatial and data-heavy systems. Highlights include scaling a real-time data pipeline sixteen-fold, securing government accreditation for sensitive data storage, and, most recently, leading the team that onshored a payments and entitlements platform for an international company. Across all of it, the throughline is building and leading teams, and, more recently, leading the push to responsibly embed AI-assisted development practices across both engineering and product. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Waikato. **Talk to him about:** validating whether a new idea for the platform is actually worth building, what's coming on the roadmap and why - or growing engineering teams that actually stick together. **Outside work:** Family, building campervans, and surfing. ![myWorksites-logo-for-light-background (1)-1](https://www.myworksites.com/hs-fs/hubfs/myWorksites-logo-for-light-background%20(1)-1.png?width=236&height=49&name=myWorksites-logo-for-light-background%20(1)-1.png) **Resources** [Online Training Portal](https://learn.myworksites.com) [Help Centre](https://help.myworksites.co.nz) **App** [Login](https://manage.myworksites.co.nz) [Register](https://manage.myworksites.co.nz) **Product** [Roadmap](https://roadmap.myworksites.com/roadmap) [Security](https://www.myworksites.com/security?hsLang=en-nz) [Contact](https://www.myworksites.com/en-nz/contact-us?hsLang=en-nz) --- © MadeCurious.
